A friendly AI companion to help users Discover the power of AI in their daily lives. The app is designed to inspire and guide users in their daily needs via AI. Users can learn new skills, discover budgeting tips, get help with a travel itinerary and more!

Summary:
This is the story of ImpactAI’s Brand, Website & App. It covers major design decisions made over 3 months as well as some little changes which impacted conversions.
My Role:
As the lead designer for this project, I collaborated closely with product designers, product managers, and senior stakeholders throughout its entirety. Not only did i oversee the user interface and user experience design aspects but also took charge in design decision-making, cross-functional communication, and ensured the project aligned with the team’s objectives and values.
Problem Statement:
Artificial Intelligence (Ai) remains largely inaccessible to the general public. Despite its potential to revolutionise various aspects of everyday life, AI technology remains confined to specialised fields and experts, creating a significant barrier for ordinary individuals seeking to understand and utilise its benefits.
Defining the Problem:
The challenge lies in designing a user-friendly experience that makes Ai accessible and practical for everyday use.The goal is to unlock the potential of AI in various aspects of users’ lives, enabling them to harness its benefits with ease and confidence. This issue calls for a solution that simplifies AI technology, making it more approachable and understandable for the general public.

With new products introduced, we want to highlight our core product offerings that go beyond Deals. We aim to allow a habit-building & fast payment experience for our consumers, while strengthening product discovery on the app.

To ensure a proper design system is in place to reduce technical debt, and give our consumers a better, consistent experience.
Our Users:
Before we started designing, we deep dive into existing behavioural and purchase data of our users to understand them better. We also conducted a series of customer interviews.
We focused on identifying what is the reason that our customers use our product for?
We defined 3 user archetypes, and mapped them to their respective jobs-to-be-done.
Productivity Enthusiasts: Professionals seeking to automate routine tasks, save time, and improve efficiency.

Language Learners: Individuals wanting to practice a new language with a fluent speaker or improve conversational skills in their native language.

Deep Dive: Designing ImpactAI
Design Sprints and Collaboration:
To accelerate the development of a truly user-centric AI companion, we employed design sprints. By uniting product designers, product managers, and content creators, we fostered a collaborative environment focused on identifying and resolving critical user pain points within the ImpactAI ecosystem.
Understanding our Users
To craft an intuitive and engaging experience, we delved deep into user behavior. By mapping out user journeys and creating detailed user personas, we gained invaluable insights into how people interact with AI. This knowledge empowered us to pinpoint opportunities for enhancing the ImpactAI experience.
Rapid Ideation and Prototyping
To explore the vast potential of AI, we embraced rapid prototyping. Through sketching and iterative design, we generated a wealth of innovative ideas. By focusing on divergence before convergence, we ensured a diverse range of solutions were considered.
Final Designs
The redesigned ImpactAI platform boasts a clean, modern aesthetic that prioritizes learning and engagement. By introducing scalable components, refining micro-interactions, and optimizing content placement, we enhanced the overall user experience and strengthened ImpactAI’s brand identity.
Building a Design System
To maintain consistency and efficiency, we developed a comprehensive design system. By establishing a library of reusable components, typography styles, and visual assets, we streamlined the design and development process while ensuring a cohesive brand identity.
Personalised Home Screen
To enhance the learning experience, Skilldemy delivers a personalized platform. By leveraging user data and preferences, the app recommends relevant modules and creates a tailored learning journey for each individual. It also houses the users timetable, upcoming tests, and homework set by the module instructor.
Courses Tab
This tab serves as the central hub for learners to explore and access a diverse range of educational content. With intuitive filters and search functionality, users can easily discover modules aligned with their interests and goals.
Timetable Tab
The Timetable tab provides a clear overview of a student’s enrolled courses, including schedules, deadlines, and assignments. This centralised hub helps students stay organised and manage their time effectively.
Chat Tab
The Chat tab serves as the primary communication channel within Skilldemy, enabling direct messaging between students and instructors. This feature fosters a supportive learning environment by facilitating real-time questions, discussions, and feedback.
To enhance collaboration and community building, teachers can create dedicated group chats for specific purposes. Whether it’s organizing group projects, coordinating field trips, or sharing announcements, these group chats facilitate seamless interaction among students and foster a sense of belonging

Understanding that every user is unique, we prioritized personalization. By leveraging user data and preferences, ImpactAI delivers tailored recommendations, creating a truly personalized AI companion experience.

The launch of ImpactAI marks an exciting milestone, but our journey is far from over. We will continue to refine the platform based on user feedback, incorporate emerging AI technologies, and expand our AI tool offerings.
